You can link Excel tables in the same way you link tables from a back-end
database. There are some problems occasionally, the biggest being that
Access decides what type of data each column is, and if there are no entries
in a date column in the first 25 rows, it won't be recognized as a date
field. The code to link a table is something like this:
DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acLink, {Spreadsheet path/name},{Excel version
(optional},{tablename},{has field names (True/False)},{spreadsheet
range/page}
This is from memory -- I used it at work recently -- but when you start
entering this, you get the options as you type.
