I have a form with a subform that shows related records. I have an update
query that I need to be able to run automatically that updates records in a
third related table for each record in the subform. In the criteria of the query
I use a forms!fieldname Right now the query works for only the first
record in the subform. I have tried to cycle through the records using goto next
record but it says the subform is not open even though it is. Is there a
better way to do this, or is there a way to open the update query such that
it finds all of the records in the third table based on a field in any
of the records in the subfrom.
Does this make any sense? I am not sure I am being clear enough.
thanks.
