George,

One warning about storing images in a database: DB bloat! My first
exposure to Access was with a badge-printing database in the days
when a 1 Gig hard drive was big. The DB (not my development, I just
learned on that job how to do queries and reports!) stored photos and
signatures to go on the badges. The file got up to 600 Meg and was
too big to be able to compact on that machine! If you can store the
paths and filenames for the image files and work with them that way,
you'll be much better off.
