Hello All Please confirm my understanding of data types particularly single and double. A single has a range of approximately -3.4e38 to 3.4e38 and a double -1.8e308 to 1.8e308. I am not exactly sure of the number of decimal places each are acurate to but i'm asumming it's "alot" for both.
So now the question - given that most applications that i deal with aren't splitting an atom and aren't dealing witn my bank account that has 10^38 million dollars in it, and that i have many tables with a feew million rows, for DB size purposes, i should not have any field declared as a double. Would you all agree??? thanks Peter ------------------------ Yahoo!
