I'm linking DBF files, and need to programmatically re-link them to files that are exported from another app. The problem is that the file names change. TOTALS.DBF is the original file name, I'm sorting it into a subdirectory, renaming the file according to its timestamp, and need to relink my Access table to the newly named file.
The Connect property for DBF files does not specify the filename, it just assumes that it’s the same as the table name. I could drop and recreate the link (which is what I'm doing now), I'm just wondering if anyone has a easier method. I've tried modifying the SourceTableName property to the filename, but it doesn't seem to like that.
Thanks,
Tom Oakes
