I am looking to enter a row and get its primary key from within an ASP
program. The SQL statement might be something like:

Insert Into tblJobs Values ('12/1/2005','12/2/2005','Columbia,
MD','Desk Clerk','Responsible for incoming mail.');Select @@Identity
As NewID

However, unlike SQL Server, it appears that Access is not able to
process multiple SQL statements. OTOH, perhaps it can and requires a
different format.

If anyone could indicate which is correct then I would appreciate the
note, otherwise I will just go ahead and do it in multiple steps.

Cheers -

george
