Yikes, Richard, you're posting to way too many groups!  Do your research in the Help files first, and then look in the archives of some of these groups!

1.  You need to research subforms which will hold the linked data.  This is standard stuff.

2.  If your second table has only one field, you are probably not making a relational database.  More research.  You can use the wizard in creating a combobox that will find a record in the database.

I have two problems I need to get solved.

1. I have to put information from two tables in a form One field from one form is searchable and it should populate the form with the linked data to the other table.  This data needs to be able to be updated in the form and then saved back to the table.  This form has to be able to be used as a data entry form when needed.

2.  I have a table that has one field.  I want to make a sub form that will populate INFORMATIONAL data at the top from another table, then in the sub-form below it will populate data that can be entered which comes from another table, (3 tables in all).  on the 1st table I need to be able to navigate with a drop down box to all the records in the 1st table.

Can someone help????????????????
