Boy, that has me stumped. Whenever I have had issues with the
Not-In-List combo box, I have had a comma or an apostrophe sneaking in.
Or the value was keyed in, and then the user has re-keyed the values in
the Add form. The new information was different from the information
that was keyed into the combo box.

For example: Combo Box data Entry = Smith, Karen
Form data Entry = Last Name: Smythe
                                         First Name: Karen

Then when they get back to the Combo Box, they get the Not-In-List
message again. (You may want to watch the Open Args that come across
to see whether a space is coming along or not.)

Nope. The values are straight forward.

System assigned primary key, long name, short name, and registration
number. Nothing has a single quote, double quote, or any other unique
character. Straight forward numbers, letters, and spaces.
