As far as i know in access, if you create the 2nd table as a subform then it
does, otherwise no.
To make it sure (Access/Web FE) after your save command make a small Insert
statement that will insert the related records you want on the 2nd table.

George

Subject: [AccessDevelopers] Automatically creating related record

Hello Group,

I'm need to create a related record when ever a new customer record is
created. This new customer record could be created either by web or
access frontend.

I thought if you had referential integrity between the 2 tables that
the second one would be created whenever you created the new customer
but it does not.

Anyway to ensure that the 2nd related record is created from either
web or Access?

Thanks in advance,
Bill
