Sr. Torres, Is it because of Dlookup - no. In design are you selecting the Tab Order option under the View menu? If you select Auto Arrange the order will be set top to bottom, left to right. If you have a field on the right of you form and it is ever so slightly above a field on the left it will be assigned a lower tab index number. This is why it is important to make sure all fields on the same line are same height and aligned either top or bottom. If you have columns of fields and you wish tabbing a left column before the right columns then you will need to set this up manually in the Tab Order option under the View menu. The default tab order will always be the order in which the fields were added to the form. You may have noticed this when, after creating you form, you add a combo box at the top of a form for selecting a specific record. The tab index will be the highest tab index on the page as this was the last field added to the form. If there is a field you do not want to gain focus while tabbing then set the Tab Stop property to NO.
I have never seen where the tab index changes after setting it in the Tab Order option under the View menu. Glenn P. Could it be that I am using a Dlookup on the form. Or I have setting wrong on fields I do not want the tab stop set to 'yes'.
