Tobi - Actually the code i'm scanning is the acutal dept number which is the identifer for each record in the subform. See there is a field called "ReworkNo" in the main form which the subform is based one. The ReworkNo pulls up all the records in the subform, generally 4-6 records in the subform window.
What they want to do is Scan Dept barcode 105 and the time and date data populate in that particular record. Thanks for all your help Tobi!
