We use an MDA file as a reference on the front end mdb file, and call the report from the mda file where the report resides. If the report doesn't exist in the mda file, then code tells it to look in the local mdb file for a similarly named report. We use this for customized and uncustomized reports. All of the customized reports reside in the mda file, which isn't bothered if we upgrade the front end piece.

third mdb. Does anyone have experience of this or did I dream it? If
this is a recognised technique, can the reports be called from the
front end mdb, or do you have to open the report mdb separately to
