I am glad you asked this question, sorry, I am also waiting to see 
someone's input. I also think pivot tables are the best thing that 
ever came out of Excel, but was scared away on first trying them in 
Access. I haven't taken any time to understand the implementation 
but always figured it be worth looking into.
