what is the file extension of the log file in question?

Any log files are readable in notepad yet Access doesn’t seem to be able to import or link to them.

Maybe the question was a bit too vague. :-)

Elaborate a bit:

1. Which log files? Windows PC log files? SQL Server Log files?
2. Importing into what? Access tables or SQL server tables.
3. What sort of format are we talking about? CSV, Pipe delimited?
Single lines one after another?

Are you asking whether anyone has a process that knows where to find
the files or knows how to open them and interpret them?

Hope this helps...

Duane.
