I have some Access knowledge, but am primarily a Cold Fusion
developer. I've been asked to add a field to a report which
dynamically determines what a record's rank is, while sorting on a
different criteria. So, for example, if we were talking about
products, it might be sorted by product name, but I need to
dynamically determine whether each item is the #1 seller, #2 seller,
etc.
I've been researching it for a while now, but haven't come up with
anything particularly helpful. Can you offer me any
ideas/direction/snippets?
