I have a database with several tables, but need to append part of
one table. This is the setup: 1 table "Product" contains the
information related to the product, i.e. name and description;
Another table "Status" contains the status of each product. I have
a numbering system for the status, along with a task associated with
each status.
Since product records will contain various statuses, i.e. some will
have one status, while some will have 3 or 4, I need to be able to
append the last record for a certain status for each product.
For example: for all products I need to add the task "Project A
Complete", but depending on the number of existing status entries,
each product could be different.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
