Hi Tom
Sorry about all the requests. You will probably see at least one more request
from me as I duplicate the problem.

   The proxy support is relatively new. If you can reproduce it and send the
relevant logfile, that'd be a big help. If you're requesting the cert from
within the VenueClient, then send VenueClient.log; if CertificateManager, then
CertificateManager.log. On Mac/Linux, you'll find these in ~/.AccessGrid3/Logs.

   I've issued certs just now, and found many successful requests from you;
among them I'm sure you'll find the 1 or 2 that correspond to your successful
requests.

      Hi, yeah... sorry we didn't provide much info did we!

      Chris was on a Linux Fedora 7 with AG 3.1 kit (AccessGrid-3.1-2.fc7)
which is a Venue Server and QuickBridge.
      I was on a Mac OSX 10.5.8, AG 3.2beta.
      Both machines require and use a http proxy for port 80 (web) from on
campus.

      However, tonight from home requesting an Identity cert with
CertificateManager from my MacBook has worked fine (using transparent proxy).
      So it could be a local issue with proxies at UWS... we get that a bit.
We'll check again in the morning.
      When I was able to see the proxy log entry which kinda looked okay, so I
was hoping it was not our problem :)

      Cheers, Andrew.

            Just got it to work using certificate request from Windows XP using
AccessGrid 3.2 "Request a Certificate"

         Chris,

         What were you using when you first had the failure?

         Andrew,

         With your failure, which version of MacOS X and AG Toolkit?

               Just to add to this, attempting to request an identity cert from
the same network here at UWS using CertificateManager on MacOSX and getting the
same problem (certificate request failed). This is the request URL logged on
the http proxy -

               TCP_MISS/200 POST
<http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/ca/agdev/certReqServer.cgi>
http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/ca/agdev/certReqServer.cgi

               200 response suggests we're getting something back from that
webserver, but maybe not what the CertificateManager is expecting?

               Cheers, Andrew.
