Jesus, In Asia-Pacific region, we're now using dbeacon: http://fivebits.net/proj/dbeacon/ There's a tarball link on that page as well as a link to the git repository. Its different from the older multicast beacons in that its distributed in its action, rather than client/server; any client can also display the output matrix via a web server. For an example of output, see the Asia Pacific matrix at: http://syd-a-ext1.aarnet.net.au/matrix/ FAQ at: http://wiki.github.com/hugosantos/dbeacon/faq Some additional info at: http://www.vislab.uq.edu.au/research/accessgrid/howto/dbeacon.html chris Christoph Willing +61 7 3365 8316 QCIF Access Grid Manager University of Queensland
