hi all, the Vinton Cerf lecture of April 3 at RIT is now available as full HD encoded as a 5 Mbps mpeg4 video on demand file. the most reliable way to play this is with VLC (available from http://www.videolan.org).
i have enclosed a playlist file that VLC will play if you click on that file and VLC is already installed. otherwise, you can open VLC and type in this address: http://media.rc.rit.edu/RIT-VintCerf.mp4 i intend to put this up as an rtsp stream as well as smaller versions but will need more time to get that done. this was the quickest one to put up. if you have problems, let me know, and i will be sure to let you know when more web-standard versions are available. enjoy, -gurcharan -- ------------------------- Gurcharan S.
