At the cost of looking like an idiot, the Bridgeserver it has just started
working again...
For whoever has the same issue:
Try starting the Bridgeregistry before the Bridgeserver.
There is probably some other issue causing the error (since I was trying to get
the Registry up before the server most of the day), in which case I'd
recommend a nice clean OS install.
