I am running the audio service on an Ubuntu hardy system that uses an AD1985 chipset. It does work, but I am getting a loopback of captured audio through the speakers. The alsa mixer does have a switch that fixes the issue. If I mute the Line-In on the Playback section, everything works properly. However, if I slide the RAT 'talk' slider it unmutes this Line-In playback. It is a strange issue. I am hoping someone has some ideas. I have fought this problem with several dists of linux.
