John's symptoms are exactly what I am seeing also.

Mine doesn't do the launch/relaunch thing (Win XP) - but for me 3.1b2 grabs
the 224.2.217.75. Version 3.0.2 grabs 224.2.224.235.
Not sure what will grab 224.2.140.123.
