The ICE Lab at RIT will tentatively be having a tour by local city high school students on December 18th between 9 and 11am EST.
I would like to coordinate an activity with a remote site to fully demonstrate our AG setup and give the students a hands-on experience. The students, from the School of Imaging and Information Technology at Edison, are currently studying graphic design, art, advertising, media, and technology. If anyone is interested in artistically collaborating with the students or facilitating a meeting with other high school students, please reply so that we may plan activities. Also, are other nodes actively involved in outreach programs to high schools (or other places in the community)? I'd like to get an idea of what others are doing regarding community involvement.
