Hello Monika: New hardware items are 'moderated' at present, meaning they need to be reviewed by a hardware maintainer before appearing. I have now published your entry.
Also, the 'hardware' pulldown should now appear when you are adding new hardware items. If you have any trouble with it, let us know.
