Broadening Participation in Computing
Access Grid Meeting

The NSF Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE)
is providing an Access Grid meeting on the Broadening Participation in
Computing (BPC) program. The new program solicitation is now available at
http://www.nsf.gov/publications/pub_summ.jsp?ods_key=nsf06540. Proposals for
Alliance and Demonstration Projects are due May 17, 2006.

The BPC program aims to significantly increase the number of U.S. citizens and

Projects, and supplements to existing CISE grants.

presentation on the BPC program. The presentation will discuss the BPC program
and its aims, and report on the outcomes of the in-person BPC meetings held on
March 9-10 in Atlanta, Georgia.
