Hi all, I would like to buy an iMac 17". Apple folks say it is being now shipped only with Intel Core Duo. Intel processor outperforms the PowerPC but there will be a transition period in which several applications will run in emulation-mode using the Rosetta technology, which of course will diminish any perceptible speed ups. Still the 20" iMac has a G5 processor.
Does anybody know how good (or bad) will result running the AGTk2.4 and related shared applications on Intel box?
