Monika, I ran into the same issue and tried several solutions before replacing the sound card which resolved the problem. It may be that the Realtek HD Audio drivers are not recognized by the AG API.

I have AG 2.4 running on Win XP, and using that device. RAT complains about "No Audio Device". I tested the mic and speakers, then with a headset. Successful hardware test for both. RAT does not see the device. Other audio apps are working fine. I see all the participants listed in RAT, the green slider is active on Listen when someone is talking, but I don't get any sound. Also, no activity at all for Talk, when it is on. I wonder how RAT could recognize that device. Any ideas? TIA, Monika
