I've placed copies of my paper on implementing AG functionality over the
Jabber/XMPP protocol online here:

The crux of the paper/presentation is that all the functionality
associated with the current AG can be replicated over the Jabber
protocol with little or no modification. In addition some other useful
properties fall-out, including the possibility of P2P ('venue-less') AG
sessions and more advanced shared-application interaction. The Latex
source for these is also available via Subversion:

Also there is the presentation on using Sawfish for advanced window
management under Linux.
