We are running a Grid project here at Manchester known as MUST - Multicast
Streaming Technology over the Grid. One element of this project involves
analysing multicast packet loss and related statistics during Access Grid
sessions. To do this, we intend to use the logging capabilities of RAT.

If you are willing, we need about 5 partners to take part in some experiments
that involve running RAT from the command line with certain parameters that
will make it log network statistics to a file, which you will then send to us.
And that's it!

If you are willing to get involved in such experiments, then please contact
Alex Yang at [email protected], who will then guide you in how to run RAT and
what kind of sessions we wish to log. If you have any further questions, please
also contact Alex directly.

Thanks in advance,
Mike
