Anne, In the vic that is transmitting the video, click menu There's an options button that drops down a list select "Configure on Transmit" Then click the release button and then click the transmit button this will make vic show you the config dialogs provided by the driver for your camera. You can use these dialogs to change whatever settings you need. Hopefully the driver includes flipping the video. Once you set things, they should stay set, but that depends on the driver.
