Special AG Presentation by Victor Masayesva Thursday April 14th at 1:30 p.m. (MDT) Victor Masayesva, a Media artist from Hopi will be presenting the work that he has been involved with for the past several years involving new technology and new media.
Victor Masayesva has worked with students from his indigenous community on a history project called Pensoyuki - which translates as the 'Penciled Ones' and refers to the incarceration of almost two dozen Hopi men in the late 19th century on Alcatraz when it was a federal prison. Victor has also worked on creating educational animated programs in the Hopi language on diabetes awareness. PLease attend!
