I am trying AGTk 2.2 I thought that 2.2 being one version behind the latest would provide me with the most documentation and stability.
I'm on a tight deadline to get this up and running. I'm looking for the easiest and most documented path to getting a Access Grid Node up and running. I have two RedHat Enterprise Linux computers and one XP Pro computer. Do I need to uninstall everything and start over? What version should I go with? IMHO, 2.2 was a mess and should be avoided. 2.3 is much more stable and functional. Go directly to 2.3 or stay at 2.1. --David McNabb -----Original Message----- From: "Patrick Johnson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> List-Post: [email protected] Date: Thu, 4 Nov 2004 15:36:35 -0800 Subject: [AG-TECH] Node setup Wizard I'm having trouble running the Node Setup Wizard under AGTk 2.2 I have two Linux systems running RHEL v.3 (audio and video capture) and one Windows XP Pro system for my display. I first started the AGServiceManager.py on each of the Linux systems. Each system replies with a "bound to port 12000" and no errors. The XP system also starts the Service Manager Service with no errors but when I start the Node Setup Wizard I get an error "Can not start Node Setup Wizard". There are no other error messages and nothing in the event viewer. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks, Patrick Johnson Integrated Media Systems 1260 N.
