There is now a snapshot of the latest AG2.2 for Slackware available at http://www.ap-accessgrid.org/AG2/
This snapshot is looking pretty good/stable and well worth trying out. It was built & tested on Slackware 10.0, but I think it would also work without problems on Slackware 9.1 (reports welcome).
