If you are looking for python-based solution, I would like to recommend Plone http://www.plone.org/. All pages can be modified through web with customizable permission. We are using it heavyly at http://hpcnc.cpe.ku.ac.th/. In case of you still like wiki, it is possible to use wiki on plone.
