Setting up a new, multimachine AG 2.x node is my *job*. i would really like to have a better idea of which distribution will be supported - fully - without tricks and patches and adding this, that and the other to seven different config/dat files. Stable is the name of the game - the big node cannot and will not be changed willynilly. i've heard rumblings of AG 2.3. Am i wasting my time with AG 2.2 then? i spent *a lot* of time beating my head against the wall with RH7.3 and the AGtk 2.2. The client would hang on venue room changes. Then it mysteriously (and by mysteriously i mean no changes made on my end) started working again. Then stopped and this notice came out. i guess i'm tired of feeling in "limbo" here. Is it Fedora Core1, Fedora Core 2, or Gentoo? i have people that put up a good deal of money and purchased some very expensive equipment and it is stuck on AG1.x at this time because i have no idea what OS will be supported. i really do need a solid answer on: 1) which distro? 2) AG 2.3 - wait for that or move ahead with AG2.2 Thank you. jmb
