Just to know : is there something special to do after having installed AG2.2 to have it work properly ? I say so because I have one AG2.2 installed but it doesn't work. I have managed to request a certificat with success but otherwise, when in a room, I have nothing which pops up (for the video and/or the sound for example) and I don't manage to run "/Preferences/Manage My Node...". After having specified my node service URL it says "Can not open node management at https://localhost:11000/NodeService". Do you have any clue ? BTW, did you have to install some other package to have AG2.2 running ? On my side I have installed xawtv and the sound is working... > In my case, until I work out what the heck the "debian way" > is supposed to be to make such settings,I just manually > source the below into the shell before launching > any globus/accessgrid command. Most of the time the "Debian way" I have found is to add the requested lines in /etc/bash.bashrc so they are loaded each time you open a terminal. > #!/bin/bash > > #export GPT_LOCATION=/usr/lib/gpt > export GLOBUS_LOCATION=/usr/lib/globus > > source /usr/lib/globus/etc/globus-user-env.sh I'm quite surprise you need to do so. In fact globus isn't needed to run AccessGrid, or at least you just have to install /usr/lib/gpt and nothing in /usr/lib/globus. Did you run gpt-postinstall and gpt-verify after installing gpt ? Because I did so and I have no more trouble related to globus-user-env.sh . Cheers, Joseph
