I've run into a problem with this new method of installing the video and audio executables and interactions with personal firewalls (Zone Alarm in this case, but it probably will be a problem with Black Ice, etc.). One of the ways that the firewall protects is to determine whether it is OK to allow an application to have access to the net. In the older scheme, Zone Alarm would ask once, and that was it. Now, since effectively this is a NEW application, it asks EVERY time that I try to start up the venue client.
I have other issues with the AG and Zone Alarm, so much so that I am forced just to shut Zone Alarm down to get anywhere. This is obviously NOT a good situation going forward. -randy
