hi i recall some time ago seeing references to ways to effectively operate an electron microscope virtually at a distance. i'm looking for pointers to different ways to accomplish this. e.g., i know there's vnc, in particular one that's specially enabled for adding mpeg4 streaming from u. michigan. are there others? any leads would be appreciated.
