I personally like this camera:

The face tracking doesn't work well, but the nifty stand makes it easier
to get it at eye level (I got tired of propping my old camera up on
kleenex boxes or velcroing it to my monitor).
I use a cheapo Logitech Internet Chat headset mic and it's been working
okay so far.
