Mike, I'll chime in... what's specifically buggy? Sounds like you're having audio difficulties? Can you tell us more about your setup? They've already said it - EC in the RAT.. not Vic.
I've been getting some requests lately from folks who have seen "Wilbur" (our PIG) about the specs of our portable node. I guess I should write them up and get them posted; In general, I run AGtK 2.1.2 on a dual xeon processor 2.4ghz Window XP workstation with no trouble. I also have AG 1.x installed, but I don't use it. Ever since I went to AG 2.x I've not looked back. Audio: Gentner XAP400 to do the echo cancellation with a clipon lapel wireless mic and one boundary mic for the audience. A pair of Genelec speakers rounds it off and I have this on a cart I've modified to work for me (rubbermaid of all things). Video: video capture cards are ospreys with a pair of Canon VC-C4 cameras. A usb quickcam for the operator. My only regret is not getting a third capture card and another camera. The only difficulties I ever have is if a venue server is not responsive, it takes some time for the client to decide to do anything (and tell me i can't connect). -John Q. p.s. Running our portable now away from "charlotte" (our main node) and seems to be going okay. -- John I.
