We here at UAMS have continued to try and puzzle out our PIG issue. Here is the latest. We have installed AG toolkit 2.1.2 on a Gateway E3400 desktop running Windows XP Professional with all the updates installed and the AG venue client, etc. fired up fine. The VIC showed up fine with our one camera feed and we could see our name in the RAT. (We did have a microphone issue where we couldn't see any change in the gain when we were talking into the microphone, but that is another problem....probably the mic?) So we are thinking (correctly?) that the problem isn't XP or the many updates like our original thought? And, most importantly, is the RAT dependent on the sound card?
Any and all help, ideas, or other information would be greatly appreciated at this point. Thanks! I've installed, uninstalled, tried the operating systems with all the service packs and updates, and without them and still cannot get the RAT to come up. I can connect no problem, I've got good video using a QuickCam Orbit, but no RAT. The Audio Service is enabled, as well as Video Consumer Service and Video Producer Service, and everything seems to work but the RAT. Any ideas?
