The problem is that this creates broken cases if you're doing anything other than application-defined keyboard navigation. If you use screen reader commands to move between table cells, the screen reader may not be able to find the cell it wants because it isn't available. There's currently no way for an AT to tell the application to on-demand load a requested table cell.
