I have heard about cases in Karnataka where a blind girl marrying on her will was denied of her share in the parent's property and was told she wouldn't given anything. Because the husband was willing to give up any claim over the property, the girl didn't insist on getting her share. IAR (International Agency for Rehabilitation), who have recently started marriage counseling and a marriage bureau for the VH and those with other disability, know about this case, in case someone is interested.

It will be appretiated if somebody from a legal background can interveen at this juncture. There are few judgements wherein honourable supreme court of India has held that "right to live with dignity" is a fundamental right of every citizen of india. These judgements can be thoroughly studied to see if circomstances in a particular judgement match with any individual's situation.
