Let's get this clear. R.P. doesn't cause you ear problems. What may have perhaps happened in our cases is that the responsibility on our ears have become suddently higher due to loss of vision. Our ears, to an extant, have to take up the load of observing the environment and we do use our ears excessively to do things; like finding out time for example. I guess this has resulted in excess stress for our ears.
