TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR
INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP OF R.N. BATRA TALKING BOOK LIBRARY
An institution can become a member of R.N. Batra Talking Book Library of the
National Association for the Blind by paying one time registration fee of
100 US dollars. The Institution must apply for Membership on the prescribed
form.
N.A.B. reserves its right on granting or continuation/cancellation of
membership to any institution.
The member institution would designate one person who would interact with
the NAB library for its services.
Facilities offered to the Institutional members:
1. The books available in NAB Delhi Catalogue which are produced at NAB
itself can be provided to the member organisations on CDs. These books
conform to DAISY(Digital Accessible Information System) standards version
2.02. These books can be made available to the members on payment of 25 US
Dollars per CD in developing countries.
2. If the book required by the institution is not available with NAB,
then the institution can request a new recording of the book by providing
one print copy of the book. The book will be returned to the institution
after the recording. For the organisations from developing countries, this
recording will be done at the rate of 15 US dollars for every hour of
recording
3. The shipping cost for these books will have to be borne by the
member organisation.
