Dear Srini: I feel you must go to the consumer court with the following demands:
1. If Intel can pay for the motherboard why can't the same be replaced? 2. If the processor works only with that type of motherboard why can't the processor be replaced or why the money be reimbursed for that as well? Also, please do some research of your own, such as checking with Intel directly, if the local distributor is right, just to cross check and make sure things 100 pc before you file a case against Intel. My question is, whether I can ask them to get back their processor as well? since that can be fixed with that type of motherboard alone. Apparently, while I was asking this question to my vendor, he replied that Intel has refused to pay for the processor, since it is in working condition. I'm really confused and got frestrated now.
