I have been reading the tributes paid to Prof Sena, and so, though I did not have the fortune of personally knowing him, I understand the greatness of Prof Sena and his invaluable contributions to the education of VI persons in the country.
I pray for his soul to rest in peace and my heart goes out to his family and friends who will miss him dearly. He ran an NGO - Shruti, which focusses on aspects affecting access to higher education for the Print disabled. He helped to highlight issues like books for the blind & corresponding benefits from modifications to the Copyright laws. He was instrumental in establishing the first computer facility for the Blind at Delhi University. He had also established a web site for the Blind.
