Such problem may occur if the "View my desktop as web page" option is checked in the Display properties. Give it a try.
Go to Control Panel, Display, Web tab and uncheck the option I mentioned before. At times screen resolution may also cause the problem. In that case you will have to try different resolutions. On windows xp 1024x768 is the normal resolution and jaws works normally with it. Best regards, Amiyo. Also while navigating through a menu, say for example the start menu, on pressing the down arrow key, jaws does not stop speaking the previous items. In other words, it's just speaking, speaking and speaking which is really annoying, annoying and annoying! > > What's wrong? > I uninstalled and reinstalled Jaws but in vain. > I'm using Jaws 7 with Win XP Pro. > > Looking forward to all your valuable solutions, > Loving regards, > Rishi. > To unsubscribe send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject unsubscribe. > > To change your subscription to digest mode or make any other changes, please visit the list home page at > http://accessindia.org.in/mailman/listinfo/accessindia_accessindia.org.in To unsubscribe send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the subject unsubscribe.
