Hi,

Yes, you can permanently disable Typing Echo. To do so, follow the steps listed 
below.

1. Open JAWS context menu using INSERT+J.
2. Select Utilities submenu and then, Configuration Manager to open the 
Configuration Manager window.
3. Press ALT+S to open Set Options menu. Select User Options from the menu to 
open the User Options dialog box.
4. For the Typing Echo option, select the Off radio button.
5. Activate the OK button to close the User Options dialog box.
6. Press CTRL+S to save the setting done.
7. Close the Configuration Manager using ALT+F4.

Besides, you can disable Tutor Messages. To do so,

1. Open JAWS context menu using INSERT+J.
2. Select Options submenu and then, Basics... to open Basic Settings dialog box.
3. For the Tutor Messages option, select the Turn Off Menu and Control Help 
radio button.
4. Activate the OK button to save and close the Basic Settings dialog box.
