Hi folks, especially those using StationPlaylist Studio: As the current maintainer of StationPlaylist Studio add-on for NVDA, one of the things I wanted to do for a long time was to publish a reference on internals of how this add-on works. I'm delighted to announce that this reference is now available at: https://bitbucket.org/nvdaaddonteam/stationplaylist/wiki/spladdoninternals Spanning fourteen chapters (which came out to 66 pages in Microsoft Word), NVDA Add-on Internals: StationPlaylist Studio covers everything you need to know about the add-on, including development history and design philosophy, how layer commands work, detailed tour of features such as Track Dial, library scan, Cart explorer, various alarms including microphone alarm and add-on settings dialog, as well as a detailed tour of encoder support and other services provided by the add-on. You'll also learn how an add-on feature is born, thought processes behind add-on feature development, tales of times spent debugging features and more (to that one broadcaster who spent a better part of summer of 2014 helping me fix various issues, I'd like to thank you).
